revenge burns for former North Korean judoka

JUDO/ Revenge burns for former North Korean judoka – AJW by The Asahi Shimbun

Interesting article. But as a budoka – martial artist – I wonder if this is the best attitude to instil into your children. This is a famous zen story: The Muddy Road.

And check out Death too for Tanzan’s cool way to check out. Death. I don’t know 60 people though.

You are right Carina! It isn’t good for anyone to have revenge in their heart. Or to try to pass it on to the next generation. About our children and martial arts you are right also – they have to decide for themselves what they want to do.

  2. Thank you Niall for this interesting story. No I don’t think revenge is something to teach our children, as a budoka and as a no budoka, even to instil to become a judoka, we can show them the beauty of martial arts by inscribing them when they are young, but the should choose what they really want to become
